DIRECTIONS
From Edinburgh (35 miles).
Follow signs for The Forth Road Bridge/M90 motorway. After the bridge, exit at Junction 2A, signposted A92/Glenrothes. Continue along A92, following signs for Glenrothes/Tay bridge. Countinue across the Glenrothes roundabout, still on A92. At next large roundabout, turn right - it will be signposted Markinch(B9130)/Balbirnie House. The entrance to Balbirnie Park is less than a a mile along the road on the left hand side. From Glasgow (70 miles).
Take M8 and follow signs to Forth Road Bridge, then directions
as from Edinburgh above. From Perth (23 miles).
Take M90, exit Bridge of Earn at junction 9. Take A912 following
signs to Glenfarg, Gateside, Strathmiglo, Falkland and Glenrothes.
Turn left on B9130 following signs to Markinch and Balbirnie
Park. alternatively, take M90 to junction 3
and follow directions as from Edinburgh. (Longer, but all
motorway or dual carriageway). From Dundee (26 miles).
Follow signs to Tay Bridge Road. Take the Kirkcaldy road (A92
and A914) to Glenrothes. Turn left on B9130 following signs
to Markinch and Balbirnie Park.
