A feature of visiting Balbirnie is undoubtedly
the dining experience, using at every opportunity the wonderful
natural larder that Scotland provides.

Balbirnie's kitchens have an emphasis on
creating dishes which use the freshest produce, are simple
and full of flavour. Our lunch and dinner menus change monthly,
always taking advantage of the changing seasons to offer a
wide and varied selection of dishes which reflect seasonal
specialities.
Balbirnie's "signature" dishes
combine with both those which are classic in approach and
also those which are newly researched, often drawing inspiration
from all around the world.
Balbirnie's wine list is one of the finest
in Scotland-over 250 wines from around the world are featured.
The list also features includes a separate section for "Recommendations
from The Cellarman", regularly updated to include wines
which have been chosen to complement dishes on our current
menu.

For pre and post dinner drinks, the original
old library of the house has now been converted into The Library
Bar and you will find it very well stocked (both with books
and drinks!), with a fine range of malts (over 110), cognacs,
ports and cocktails on offer.
In addition to the Bar, a choice of three
different Drawing Rooms provides an array of spacious and
elegant public areas for relaxing in.
