A range of different fieldsports can be experienced using Balbirnie as a base for accommodation and dining, and travelling to a number of private estates within Fife and Perthshire on day visits.
Within thirty minutes drive from Balbirnie, both driven and walked-up pheasant shooting can be arranged on local estates (with the shooting season running from October to January).
For those prepared to drive a little further North, the opportunities are even greater. Dates are often set aside a year in advance for different types of shoots at particular estates and are therefore more difficult for us to secure unless you are very flexible with dates. However, some estates do offer bookings with a shorter lead in time.
Costs usually start from £150 per gun per day for walked-up shoots. Roebuck deer stalking can also be organised between May-July around the Perthshire area.
