We do have a list of associates who have provided aspects of service for weddings over the course of time.

These range from florists and pipers to cake makers and chauffeurs. We consider each and every one of them to provide a great standard.

We only recommend 3 photographers, they have tremendous experience of working at Balbirnie and know the house, the backdrops and the gardens back-to-front.

These are of course our own recommendations and as such it is left to the bride and groom to determine if anyone on our list of recommendations can assist with the big day.

Balbirnie's in-house band CALLANISH recently played 'the gig of a lifetime', for the Queen and world leaders at the recent G8 summit at Gleneagles. (Callanish also played at the opening of The Scottish Parliament.)

One of the other highlights of 2005 for Callanish was playing at the annual Scotland/ Harley Davidson 'Thunder in the Glens' rally in Aviemore.

If you are looking for a band for your special day you just can't get any better than this, with their unique blend of Celtic rock and Ceilidh, blending with anything from Elvis to Sinatra to The White Stripes! Please just drop us an email if you would like us to check on Callanish availability for your wedding. 

EXTRAS...
For all those ‘special little things’ that make the difference (favours, candles, gifts etc. etc. etc.) we would appreciate if these could be delivered prior to the special occasion, on the day before between 4.30- 6.30 pm, and in turn, given that we have no storage facilities, any leftover items must be collected/uplifted the morning after the wedding.

CONFETTI!
In passing, it would be very helpful indeed if you could advise your guests that Balbirnie House asks that if confetti is to be thrown, then to respect the environment and park policies, please use either rice or flower petals.  Please note that confetti cannot be used within the house itself.
