Balbirnie has gained four AA red stars annually since 1995, indicating exception standards of comfort, food and service. Over the years, we have received many awards, including Macallan/Taste of Scotland Hotel of The Year, Glenmorangie Bar of The Year, Golf International magazine Hotel of The Year and most recently, the RAC guide Gold Ribbon award which has been awarded to just three hotels in Scotland.

The AA have awarded
us four red AA stars since 1995, signifying that we
are one of the top 200 hotels in the UK. Our red star
status signifies a particularly outstanding contribution
to hotel keeping in every category from comfort to fine
food to exceptional service.
